A newly established company is to support the R&D activities of Wansern Group and to develop new bio-based products. Wansern Biotechnology Sdn Bhd, incorporated in 2006. Located in Headquarter, Batu Pahat. Wansern Biotechnology is committed to carry out R&D activities and to promote innovative and sustainable technologies that will improve human health and the environment. A current advancement project is the development of plant-based polyol and polyurethane products. Recently Wansern's Natura ™ polyol has been successfully developed and found suitable for the continuous run of the flexible slab stock foams for application in bedding, furniture & other industry. It is also found to be a good raw material for the production of visco elastic foams suitable for high end bedding, such as mattress and pillows, furniture and medical applications. The Natura™ polyol and foam products were launched on 26th July 2008.
